Degele Manufacturing has its beginnings in decades of expertise, military service, and commitment to American manufacturing quality.
1956 – Began career at Chrysler, gaining early experience in tool and die and automotive production.
1957–1960 – Served in the U.S. Military, including time at Fort Lewis as part of Operation Plumbbob, and later in Italy and Greece as a Special Forces guard for rockets and atomic warheads.
Final year in the U.S. focused on machine shop and field maintenance work.
1960–1965 – Returned to Chrysler as a tool and die craftsman.
1965-1975 – Worked in a Tool and die Job Shop as a Tool and Diemaker and Supervisor.
1975 – Purchased a Tool and Die Shop.
1980 – Purchased a Metal Stamping Co. and Founded Degele Manufacturing Inc. expanding into full production and manufacturing.
1985 – Expanded operations from a 12,000 sq. ft. facility to 40,000 sq. ft. facility
